Rod Phillips speaks on the BBC
Professor Rod Phillips was an ‘expert witness’ on the BBC World Service program, The Inquiry. Each episode poses a question, and four ‘expert witnesses’ are invited to talk about an aspect of it. The episode Rod appeared on asked the question “Is it last orders for the wine industry?” and it probed the crises facing the wine industry today: declining consumption, health concerns, rising prices, and trade issues that include US tariffs. Rod talked about the long-term associations of wine with health, religion, trade, and culture.
