Committee Survey 2026-2029

Please provide information about your preferences for which committee you’d like to start your committee rotation on (as per the dept meeting in March).

Your answers to this survey will be used to create the Committee Service Roster for 2026-2027, and for planning the next three years (2027-2028, 2028-2029).

There will be space on the survey for you to also provide information about periods when you will be unavailable for committee work. For example, if you are planning to take sabbatical or research leave, it would be helpful if you could tell us when and how long you will be unavailable.

Usually, the commitment to a committee is for approximately three years. When you ask for a committee assignment, please keep that in mind. You must sign up for an operational committee. You can sign up for a consultative committee.

The order of rotation for operation committees is:

Curriculum
Recruitment
Finance/T&P

Erica is confirmed to be the chair of the Grad committee, with John as the Public History representative for the next three years.

Danielle is confirmed to chair Curriculum for the next three years with Jim as PH rep for the next two years.

Jen is confirmed as chair of the Recruitment Committee. A chair for Finance and T&P have not yet been confirmed.

Everyone is encouraged and welcome to be on the PH Caucus and Decolonization Committee at any time.
