A Letter of Employment is requested for proof of employment while still actively working. Our standard letters contain the following:

  • Position/Title
  • Employment Status (Continuous/Casual)
  • Annual Salary
  • Hire and End Dates

If you need additional information to be included, please be sure to put your request in the “Comments” section of the request form.

How do I get a Letter of Employment?

To request a Letter of Employment, please send an email to payroll@carleton.ca with the subject ‘Letter of Employment Request’. Please include your Banner Employee/Student ID in your email.

Please also confirm which content options are requested:

  • Position/Title
  • Employment Status (Continuous/Casual)
  • Annual Salary/Hourly Rate
  • Total Hours
  • Hire and End Dates
