Microsoft MFA is Carleton University’s multi-factor authentication (MFA) solution. Once enabled, you will login to Carleton systems using something you know (your MyCarletonOne password) plus something you have (your mobile phone, tablet, or pre-registered telephone number), our Microsoft MFA page.
If neither a mobile phone nor your desk/home phone(s) are appropriate for your authentication needs, you can request a fob, also known as a hardware token.
