Each year, the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences at Carleton University awards the Marston LaFrance Research Fellowship to one of its outstanding faculty members, in order to facilitate the completion of a major research project.

Professor Mark Anderson, an affiliated faculty with Latin American and Caribbean Studies, is the winner of the 2020-21 Marston LaFrance Research Fellowship. He will deliver a lecture next Tuesday, March 16th on the research he is able to accomplish during his time as the Marston LaFrance Fellow. Entitled “Zombies and the Death of Certainty in the Land of Perennial Rebirth”, the annual Marston LaFrance lecture will showcase Dr. Anderson’s unique area of research as a historian.
