The Office of Quality Initiatives (OQI) and Human Resources (HR) are pleased to co-host a mixture of in-person and virtual Management Morning sessions for managers at Carleton University. The overall aim of this series is to provide space for managers to gather in real-time to learn from one another by sharing insights, promising practices, discussing relevant management topics, and considering ways of overcoming shared challenges.

The August 2026 session will take place on August 24 from 9:00am to 10:30am in Tory Building, Room 506.

Description

As we prepare for the start of a new academic term, we’d like to invite Carleton University managers to join us for a session focused on reconnecting with colleagues, checking in with one another, and sharing what’s top of mind as we head into the Fall semester.

This session will provide an opportunity to:
– Reconnect with fellow managers and leaders across campus
– Reflect on recent successes, challenges, and priorities
– Discuss emerging trends and common topics you’re encountering in your teams
– Share areas where you would value additional support, resources, or learning opportunities

Your insights will help inform the planning and development of various programming and offerings for the Fall and Winter terms, ensuring that our resources remain relevant and responsive to the needs of Carleton you and your teams.
