The Office of Quality Initiatives (OQI) and Human Resources (HR) are pleased to co-host a mixture of in-person and virtual Management Morning sessions for managers at Carleton University. The overall aim of this series is to provide space for managers to gather in real-time to learn from one another by sharing insights, promising practices, discussing relevant management topics, and considering ways of overcoming shared challenges.
The November 2025 session will take place on November 20 from 9:00am to 10:30am in Dunton Tower, Room 2017. The focus of the session will be on financial responsibilities for managers.
Description
Managing finances at a publicly funded institution requires a strong understanding of policies, procedures, and accountability. This session will introduce managers to Financial Services’ key resources and subject matter experts. A panel from Financial Services will be available for a Q&A.
