The Office of Quality Initiatives (OQI) and Human Resources (HR) are pleased to co-host a mixture of in-person and virtual Management Morning (or Afternoon) sessions for managers at Carleton University. The overall aim of this series is to provide space for managers to gather in real-time to learn from one another by sharing insights, promising practices, discussing relevant management topics, and considering ways of overcoming shared challenges.

The September 2026 session will take place on October 22 from 1:00pm to 2:30pm in the Senate Room (Room 608, Pigiarvik (ᐱᒋᐊᕐᕕᒃ)), with Shannon Hodge.

Description

This interactive session will provide updates on Corporate Records and Archives services, review recent revisions to Carleton’s Retention Schedule, and explore how and why certain records become part of the University’s historical record.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to view a selection of materials from the Corporate Archives collections and take a behind-the-scenes tour of the Archives Vault, located in Pigiarvik (ᐱᒋᐊᕐᕕᒃ).
