Workshop Description
In today’s busy world, it’s a constant challenge to keep up with goals, deadlines, and daily responsibilities. Many professionals feel overwhelmed by competing demands and the sheer volume of tasks. While we can’t give you more hours in the day, this session will show you how to make better use of the time you do have. You’ll learn to make smarter decisions about what to do and when, by using digital tools to prioritize, plan, and follow through effectively.
Workshop Objectives
By the end of this 3-hour online workshop, participants will be able to:
- Set, track, and manage goals, objectives, and priorities.
- Differentiate between simply processing email and taking meaningful action.
- Apply the FITS DRAG© method to efficiently triage email.
- Integrate email actions into Outlook’s Task Pad and Calendar.
- Determine which items belong on the calendar vs. the task pad.
- Use categories and color coding to visually organize priorities.
- Leverage Microsoft OneNote and Planner to support workflow and task management
