Effective teamwork begins with understanding how different people communicate, collaborate, and approach their work. This interactive workshop for Carleton University managers introduces participants to the Social Behaviour Styles model, providing practical insights into behavioural preferences and their impact on workplace relationships.
Through self-reflection and discussion, participants will gain a better understanding of their own behavioural style, learn to recognize the styles of others, and explore strategies for adapting their approach to communicate and collaborate more effectively. Participants will also examine how diverse behavioural styles contribute to team dynamics and discover ways to leverage individual strengths to build stronger working relationships and support team success.
Participants will learn to:
- Identify their own behavioural style and communication preferences.
- Recognize and appreciate different behavioural styles in the workplace.
- Adapt their communication approach to work more effectively with others.
- Leverage diverse strengths to enhance collaboration and team effectiveness.
This workshop will be facilitated by Sue Faubert.
