The Migration and Diaspora Studies Student Society (MDSSS) is excited to announce the First Annual MDS Student Society-led Conference!
The theme is Routes and Roots: Navigating Migration and Identity – an exploration of how migration influences identity and our sense of belonging.

This year, we are focusing on three panel discussions:
- Identity and Belonging
- Transnationalism and Mobility
- Diaspora Politics and Labour
We’re now accepting proposals for papers, research, or theses you’d like to share with the MDS community. If you have something you’d like to present, we’d love to hear from you! Apply here by Sunday, March 30th, 2025.
