18th National Metropolis Conference: Getting Results: Migration, Opportunities and Good Governance

The National Metropolis Conference is an annual event, now in its 20th year, that attracts upwards of 800 participants, including academic researchers, graduate students, government officials, and members of civil society. It includes high level plenary sessions featuring Ministers and senior scholars and upwards of 75 workshops that are proposed and organized by the participants including Carleton affiliates. It is also Canada’s most heavily attended annual conference on immigration, the integration of immigrants, and members of diaspora communities. Attendance is mostly Canadian but approximately 10% of registrations will be from outside Canada.
