Graduation 2026
Migration and Diaspora Studies Class of 2026!
Congratulations to all of our MDS students who celebrated their graduation this past week! On June 8th MDS students had their convocation ceremony here at Carleton and we could not be more proud of their achievements.
This year ten students graduated from their MA, one of those with a collaborative specialization in Climate Change and two with successful completion of their Co-op programs. Our graduates also produced impressive research in their field of study with two completing their Major Research Essays and another two successfully writing and defending a thesis.
We also had 6 students graduating from the Graduate Diploma program in Migration and Diaspora Studies with one of those being a concurrent program and the other five stand-alone diplomas. Many of these graduates are going on to pursue their MA in Migration and Diaspora Studies – we can’t wait to see them again in September!
We wish all our students the very best in the years ahead and we are confident that their professional and academic endeavours will bring them much success.
