Academic and Research Interests: Exploring how displacement affects children’s mental health. Additionally, interested in working in the field of socio-legal studies, migration and diaspora, environment and gender.

Volunteer, Practicum, and Work Experience: I have worked as a United Nations Volunteer in the project “Women’s Empowerment for Economic Growth” funded by the government of the Netherlands. Have worked with the Rohingya Refugee Response Program in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh, as a Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) advisor. My responsibilities as a humanitarian worker included ensuring access to safe drinking water and sanitation facilities, ensuring gender equality, and women’s empowerment for 83,000 FDMN (Forcefully Displaced Myanmar Nationals). I also have gained experience working in the world’s largest NGO, BRAC, as Senior Specialist-Hygiene Promotion and Coordination, where I designed and monitored WASH interventions across 20 administrative regions, working closely with government and NGO stakeholders.
