I currently work for Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada. I have been working in the refugee and asylum streams for the last 4 years and I really enjoy the work I do.
The Migration and Diaspora Studies Program allowed me to take the time to dig deeper on topics that were close to my heart, such as racism in the immigration system and issues that affect Latin America and the Caribbean. The program has also taught me about subjects that I previously didn’t have much exposure to.
