Yulduz Kutlieva
Yulduz Kutlieva is a second year MA student in the Department of European, Russian and Eurasian Studies. Throughout her academic career Yulduz has concentrated primarily on the issues of politics, migration, and human trafficking and smuggling in Central Asia and Russia. In addition, her undergraduate thesis researched migration patterns in Canada with a focus on Provincial Nominee Programs. Yulduz’s current Master’s research paper focuses on oppression of ethnic minorities, migration, border issues in Turkmenistan, where she conducted primary research in September of 2010.
