Honours B.A. Psychology (Concentration Development)
I am interested in the social-emotional development of adolescents and emerging adults, with a particular focus on experiences of solitude and aloneliness. My research explores how generative AI, including chatbots, is used during solitary moments and how these interactions relate to wellbeing outcomes such as loneliness and life satisfaction. I am also interested in the role of personality traits, such as neuroticism, in shaping how individuals experience and benefit from time alone.
