Yulia Gmiro is a Ph.D. student looking at the relation between social media use and mental health. She is particularly interested in how individual differences in online experiences and the ways social media is used explain mental health in adolescents and young adults. Her current research goal is to identify strategies that younger users may implement during their engagement with social media to optimize personal mental health and well-being.
