Sad news regarding George Hobson.
Dr. George D. Hobson, formerly of the Geological Survey of Canada and Director of the Polar Continental Shelf Project, died peacefully at home on April 16. There will be a celebration of his life on Wednesday, April 22, at Manotick United Church, 5567 Manotick Main Street, Manotick (west of the Rideau River). Visitation from 1:00 to 2:00 pm; service at 2:00 pm, followed by a reception.
