Dear Colleagues at Carleton University and the University of Ottawa,

I’m writing on behalf of the organizing committee for the Ottawa Carleton Student Northern Research Symposium, which is being held at Carleton University this year. We’re issuing our call for abstracts, with the relevant details included below in text format, with posters following. We’re looking forward with excitement for the chance to share interdisciplinary presentations of Student Northern work, and in the interest of broadening our pool of attendees as much as possible, I’d like to ask you to share this with your departments, colleagues, working groups, and/or students.
Many thanks,
Keegan Smith

Dear Colleagues,

The OCSNRS is an annual, one-day event that allows students from Carleton University and the University of Ottawa to present their northern research projects. All research fields are welcome, including social, physical and life sciences and the humanities. Paper and poster presentations are open to current undergraduate, master’s and doctoral students,  as well as recent graduates (since January 2014). This year, the Symposium will be held on Friday, March 6th at Carleton University. It is an excellent way to practice presenting and gain valuable feedback from your peers!
The call for abstracts is now open for the Ottawa-Carleton Student Northern Research Symposium (OCSNRS) 2015. Our call for abstracts poster can be found attached to this email as a PDF, along with an invitation to the conference photo contest. If the PDF is inaccessible to you, please review the abstract submission guidelines below.
