Career Services Fall Career and Networking Fair
Whether you’re in your first year, graduating or alumni, the Career & Networking Fair is your chance to practice networking, learn about employers and explore opportunities.
All Carleton students and grads are encouraged to attend the in-person Fall Career & Networking Fair on October 15, 2025 from 10:00am – 3:00pm!
Why attend?
- Practice builds confidence: Networking is a skill, and like any skill, it takes practice. The Career & Networking Fair is a professional-yet-approachable environment to start conversations, ask questions, and build confidence.
- Explore opportunities: Learn about full-time, part-time, co-op and future roles. Even if you’re not job hunting now or an employer you’re interested in isn’t hiring at the moment, understanding what’s out there helps you plan ahead.
- Gain insight: Discover what different organizations do, what they value in candidates and how you might fit in now or in the future. By chatting with a range of employers you can also identify valuable hiring trends.
- Grow your network: Make connections that could lead to mentorship, advice or future opportunities. Every conversation is a step forward.
- Convenient: Meet a wide range of employers that you would not normally have a chance to speak with, all without leaving campus. Drop in between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. as it fits your schedule (last check-in time is 2:45 p.m.).
If you have any questions about the Fall Career & Networking Fair or require accommodations for a disability to attend this event, please email careerfair@carleton.ca.
