Youth Education Support Program (YESP)
The YMCA of the National Capital Region – Youth Education Support Program (YESP) supports students aged 15-25 to find success in post-secondary education.
The program can provide financial aid by covering university application fees and offers 15 scholarships of up to $1,500 each year and provides various other supports, such as a homework club, tutoring, and skills workshops. Students have access to a resource room with school supplies, hygiene products, and food. Additional supports include career guidance, mentorship, and campus tours. There is no cost to participate in this program.
The Youth Education Support Program is for students aged 15–25 in grades 11 and 12, as well as those in their first year of post-secondary studies. The program is open to youth living in Ottawa who are Canadian Citizens, Permanent Residents, or Convention Refugees.
Scholarships
