Preparing for the Early Summer Term

March 30, 2026

Time to read: 1 minutes

Compressed summer terms can be intense, but they don’t have to be overwhelming. Preparing ahead of time give you the confidence, strategies and resources you need to hit the ground running.

  1. Request accommodations in Ventus for your summer classes early in the term starting as early as May 1st.  The McIntyre Exam Centre’s deadline to request exam accommodations is 10 business days before a test or exam.
  2. If you are already connected with Alternate Format Services and require alternate format for your course readings, make your request directly via Omni, or by completing and submitting the Alternate Format Request Form. Please contact your PMC coordinator if you are not connected to Alternate Format Services and would like a referral.
  3. Check the availability of your textbook(s) and course materials for purchase at the Campus Store.

Please note that the BSWD/CSG-DSE* application deadline for the 2026 early summer term (May – June) is May 18. In order to be eligible, you must be receiving OSAP during the term of application and have submitted a complete Disability Verification Form documenting a permanent or persistent/prolonged disability.
