Looking to have a productive start to the Fall term? Want a virtual space to connect with other graduate students?

Join the Fall PMC Graduate Student Writing Group to stay on track and be part of a welcoming graduate community! Since its launch in the Winter 2022, graduate students have experienced greater success and formed valuable collegial and social relationships.

As part of the group, you will meet virtually with other graduate students over Zoom to share your graduate school experiences, talk through writing blocks, and offer advice. At the beginning of each session (first 10 minutes), you will set tangible tasks for yourself to complete within a one-and-a-half-hour window. At the end of each session (last 10 minutes), you will reflect on your progress and set tangible goals for the week ahead. Please note that cameras and microphones will be turned off during most of the session to allow graduate students to focus on their graduate work. Participants do not have to turn on their cameras if they are uncomfortable.

If this additional support and motivation is something you are interested in, join us on Monday mornings from 10:00am-11:30am from September 18 to December 11, 2023.

This group takes place via Zoom. The Zoom meeting link (including Outlook series invitation) will be provided via email.

Questions? Please contact the PMC Graduate Student Writing Group facilitator, Dr. Madison Bettle (madisonbettle@cunet.carleton.ca).
