Endowed in 2000 by family and friends of Jonathan Brant Teuscher, B.A. 1999. While at Carleton, John touched the lives of many students in his capacity as a volunteer and active participant in student affairs.

Awarded annually to a student with a Learning Disability proceeding from one year to another who has been involved in student life and is a Canadian citizen. Preference will be given to a student enrolled in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences.

Eligible applicants must…

  • be a Canadian citizen;
  • have a learning disability;
  • be registered with PMC;
  • be proceeding from one year to another in an academic program at Carleton University.

Application Instructions

  1. Write a short essay describing a brief account of how you have been involved in student life and how you feel connected to Carleton University.
  2. Complete the entire John Teuscher Memorial Scholarship Application Form and submit all documents directly to Awards and Financial Aid, awards@carleton.ca.

Application Deadline: October 31; no late applications will be considered.
