According to second year Master’s student Shayna Gersher, drone surveillance is on the rise in Canada. It is expected that regulation for drone operations in Canada will be complete in 2017, although there has been very little discussion among Canadian media and almost no disclosure among politicians and regulators about the political, environmental and social implications of implementing this technology.
