Global markets and reproduction, feminist political philosophy

Before beginning your studies at the Institute of Political Economy where did you study and what program(s) were you enrolled in?

I have a BA (Hons) in Political Science with minors in Women’s Studies and Management at McGill, and graduated in 2017.

What is it specifically that attracted you to study Political Economy at Carleton?

The specialized focus on political economy combined with a flexible and interdisciplinary program structure.

My areas of research interest include…

Global markets and reproduction, feminist political philosophy

What activities have you been involved in lately?

During my undergrad I was involved in student journalism (newspaper, radio), editing for undergraduate journals The McGill Left Review, Intersections Journal of Gender and Feminist Studies, The McGill Journal of Political Studies

Currently I am a teaching assistant, a freelance writer and editor.

What advice would you give to a prospective Political Economy graduate student?

DO YOUR PAPERWORK BEFORE CLASSES START! (HR, loans/funding, insurance, etc.) Basically get as much stuff done as you can before you get too busy.
