Provost’s Café and Faculty Forum hosted on Nov. 1
On Nov. 1, Interim Provost and Vice-President (Academic) Jerry Tomberlin hosted the fifth Provost’s Café and the inaugural Provost’s Faculty Forum.
Building on the success of the Provost’s Café, the Provost’s Faculty Forum was launched to increase information sharing and discussion about academic-related matters at Carleton.
Both events focused on the Education City initiative and gave participants an opportunity to share their ideas about how Carleton can more effectively collaborate with its local post-secondary education partners.
Jerry Tomberlin started each event by providing updates on upcoming events and initiatives. Lorraine Dyke, Vice-Provost and Associate Vice-President (Academic), introduced the University’s involvement in the Education City initiative before Samah Sabra, Professional Development Officer, Office of Quality Initiatives, facilitated an interactive brainstorming session.
