Expanded Portfolios in International Engagement

We are pleased to share two leadership updates that reflect Carleton’s continued commitment to international engagement and academic excellence.

Vice-Provost (Academic and Global Learning)

The Vice-Provost and Associate Vice-President (Academic) role has been expanded to include an international dimension and the title changed to Vice-Provost (Academic and Global Learning). David Hornsby will continue serving in this updated role. The expanded portfolio builds on David’s current mandate and recognizes his outstanding contributions to international education and policy. 

Associate Vice-President and Vice-Provost (International Student Experience and Strategic Partnerships)

The Associate Vice-President (International) role also has been expanded and the title changed to Associate Vice-President and Vice-Provost (International Student Experience and Strategic Partnerships). Betina Appel Kuzmarov will continue serving in this updated role. This expansion of duties reflects the evolution of Betina’s mandate and recognizes her deep expertise and leadership in forging international partnerships and strengthening global learning initiatives.

These changes mark a significant step forward in Carleton’s efforts to extend our global reach and impact.
