Melanie is a seasoned Senior Quality Advisor at Carleton University, bringing over 20 years of experience in quality management and organizational improvement. Since joining the Office of Quality Initiatives (OQI) in 2012, she has played a key role in leading initiatives that boost operational effectiveness and uphold high standards of quality. Her journey from HR Administrator to her current position showcases her strategic insight and deep understanding of institutional dynamics. Melanie proudly earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Carleton University in 2023, highlighting her commitment to lifelong learning.

Outside of work, Melanie is an enthusiastic golfer who enjoys the sport’s challenges and relaxation. She’s a big fan of the Toronto Blue Jays and is actively involved in minor hockey, reflecting her love for sports. As a mother of two adult sons, she balances her career with family life and personal interests, embodying a vibrant and well-rounded approach to both her professional and personal pursuits.
