How to View Account Balance
The ‘Calculate Amount to Pay’ page in Carleton Central is your notice of amount due. This page will show your total account balance, any available funding (e.g. scholarships, bursaries) and provide you with a detailed breakdown of your fees for a selected term. Your balance owing for the term will be displayed once the term’s red hyperlink has been opened.
E-statements will be sent to your Carleton University email address monthly to remind you of any outstanding payment obligations. Charges are due as they are incurred.
How to Pay Fees
Visit the Student Accounts website for information on accepted payment methods and be aware of the posted payment deadlines.
Late and Non-Payment
Late payment charges and late registration charges apply after the posted payment deadlines.
Allow enough time for payments to process to avoid late payment charges. A non–refundable late payment or late registration charge will apply after the financial deadline each term. Interest charges accrue daily and apply monthly on any outstanding balance.
Course registration will not be considered cancelled due to non-payment; you must withdraw via Carleton Central to cancel your registration.
