EVENT: Ukraine in Crisis: A Teach-in Forum for the Carleton Community (Session 1)
March 17, 2022 at 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM
| Cost: | Free |

Dear Carleton University community,
In light of the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, The Institute of European, Russian and Eurasian Studies (EURUS) announces a series of virtual “teach-in” sessions, titled “Ukraine in Crisis: A Teach-In Forum for the Carleton Community.” Our first session will take place on Thursday March 17 from 6:00-7:00 pm (EST) on Zoom.
These sessions provide a space for members of the Carleton University community to discuss the crisis: a platform to offer questions, thoughts, and concerns, while engaging with our panelists and regional experts. With a Q&A format, we invite the audience to pose questions to the panel, learn from the speakers, and drive this discussion on the war and its ramifications.
The panelists for our first session include:
- Joan DeBardeleben, EURUS, Carleton University
- Markian Dobczansky, Ukrainian Research Institute, Harvard University
- Paul Goode, EURUS, Carleton University
- Lyubov Zhyznomirska, Department of Political Science, Saint Mary’s University
- Crina Viju-Miljusevic, EURUS, Carleton University (as moderator)
Please register on our website here to participate and to receive the Zoom link for the first session.
We look forward to seeing you at the session.
Best regards,
Precious Oluwasanya
