Let’s Talk Science Challenge

Important Information:
This will be a full-day event on April 27th from 8:00 am-2:30 pm on Carleton Campus. Lunch and credit will be provided to all volunteers! There will be a short training session before the day of so that all volunteers are up to date with the day-of information.

More about the challenge:

This event brings in students from different schools in lower socioeconomic areas in Ottawa and surrounding communities to have a challenge that requires, teamwork, perseverance and to use their scientific knowledge to overcome different challenges and problems at hand. This year we have between 40 and 80 students in grades 6-8 coming in to Carleton University on April 27th to participate. The entire Challenge consists of three parts, the Quiz Show, the Lorna Collins Spirit award and the Engineering Challenge. You would be participating in helping bring science education and inspiration to students across Ottawa!
