The SWIFT Institute, global provider of secure financial messaging services is holding their annual conference, Sibos, which is being held in Toronto in October 2017. This financial services event has an education component as it is also the culmination of SWIFT’s Student Challenge. The Student Challenge is a competition open to all post-secondary students studying at Canadian institutions.
This year’s challenge is on the following topic, “How can bank channels be secured against ever increasing cyber-attacks?”. This theme will be of great interest to students studying in Canada in finance, entrepreneurship and innovation, although students from all disciplines are strongly encouraged to participate. Students may enter as individuals or teams and the rewards include professional coaching, exposure of their ideas to the global financial industry at Sibos 2017 and a first place cash prize of $20,000 CAD.
