The Senior Management Committee met on October 25, 2023, to review and approve the Indirect Costs of Research Policy:
Indirect Costs of Research Policy
Indirect costs of research are real costs that benefit and support research. These costs must be included in budget requests to external sponsors of research, including donors. The purpose of this policy is to provide transparency and clarity in the application of the policies, to standardise policy for different types of agreements, and to provide guidance to all researchers on the collection and use of indirect costs of research.
This policy applies to all externally funded research, with the exception of funds received from the federal government Indirect Costs Program.
No notable changes.
