Virtual Ventures and the Faculty of Engineering and Design invite High School students interested in Science, Technology, Engineering & Math (STEM) to join us for a 4-part club about Engineering and Design!

This club’s goal is to immerse students into the inner workings of the Civil & Environmental and Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering Departments of Carleton University. We will deliver presentations on each of the Departments, discuss relevant research projects at Carleton, and give a glimpse into career paths stemming from each Department.

Students will learn about the collaborative design process and will gain critical presentation skills through the Club’s Design Challenge. In this Design-Build-Pitch type club, the students will manage their project with a like-minded partner and over the course of 4 weeks, develop and deliver a pitch of their Engineering Innovation.

We invite students in grades 9-12 to apply to join the club.

Students will be selected based off the application questions below!
