Indigenous Land Based STEM (Science Technology Engineering Math) Camp

Receive the NAC20** High School Credit, with specific STEM activities delivered by STEM outreach Instructors from Carleton University. As well as: Connection to Land, Self-confidence, Resiliency, Teamwork, Leadership, Community, Compassion, Indigenous ways of knowing and experiences are woven throughout the program experience.

When: July 8-19, 2019
Why: First-hand experiences on the land incorporating Indigenous ways of Knowing with Western STEM knowledge.
Who can register: Indigenous Ontario High School Students (transportation may vary depending on location)
Cost: $100 security deposit, returned upon program completion (bursaries available)
Where: Thompson Island Cultural camp (Akwesasne First Nation) *Transportation provided
