Research Interests:
global migrations, transnationalisms, diasporic formations and citizenship. I examine migrants’ reconfigurations of gender roles in productive and reproductive labour in a post-migratory context, My current research interests lie in examining how gender and race are reproduced through migration policies in a neoliberal global world and the resulting transnational processes that temporary migrants, refugees and asylum seekers engage in and also their intersectional identities and acts of resistance.
