The Morrisseau Project, led by Carleton University Professor Carmen Robertson and partnering with The MacKenzie Art Gallery (MAG) of Regina, SK, has just launched the Morrisseau Storylines Website: www.morrisseaustorylines.com.

This newly created website highlights storytelling connections in the life and art of Anishinaabe artist Norval Morrisseau. The multilingual project on this celebrated artist includes biographical information connected to thematic modules and to a map artistically brought to life by Anishinaabe artist Jay Odjick from Kitigan Zibi Anishinaabe First Nation. Working closely with the Morrisseau Estate, public and private art collections, and archival collections, the contributors to the website bring Morrisseau’s life and work to new audiences in Canada and beyond.  You’ll find an exhaustive list of contributors in the “About” section on the website, and you can read more about the ongoing research activities of the Morrisseau Project at https://carleton.ca/morrisseauproject/.
