Learn about the Graduate Programs at Dalhousie University! Dalhousie University is located in Halifax, Nova Scotia on Canada’s beautiful East Coast, and our Faculty of Management is home to graduate programs equipped to help young aspiring professionals launch their careers. All of these programs are direct entry (no work experience required), welcome students from all undergraduate backgrounds, and have hands-on experiential learning incorporated into the curriculum. Whether you are looking to pivot into the world of management and business or gain a new set of business acumen to supplement your current skill set, we’ve got something for you!

Master of Business Administration (MBA) – Corporate Residency Pathway (MBA Digital Viewbook)
The Corporate Residency Pathway of our MBA Program offers a 22-month innovative, industry-informed and rigorous curriculum combined with an 8-month paid work experience (corporate residency) where students make between $20K-$50k, and post-grad 92% of our students are able to secure employment in their field of choice within 6 months. Designed for early career professionals with less than 5 years of work experience, the goal of our program is to help high achieving, self-motivated individuals with leadership potential launch their careers and accelerate their professional development.

Master of Public Administration (MPA)
The Dalhousie MPA seeks to equip students with the management skills required by public service organizations as well as, an understanding of the organization, processes and policies of government, its public agencies and the policy groups that work in the public sector. This dual focus is a unique characteristic of the MPA program and makes it highly suited for those interested in a career in the public sector or management. With a 4 month paid internship incorporated into the program, this program is specifically designed to help early career professionals realize advanced educational objectives and achieve academic ambitions in public policy and public management.

Master of Information (MI)
Our Master of Information Program is a degree offering distinct flexibility and breadth of knowledge to students, that explores issues emerging at the intersections of technology, information and people. With distinct customizable features such as a thesis option, available certificates, and the ability to do the program on a part time basis, the MI allows students to build a customized career in the dynamic information landscape.

Master of Science in Business (MScB)
The Master of Science in Business Program is a research-oriented graduate thesis program. This intensive and small program provides you with enhanced opportunities to enter a PhD program in business administration or boost your career in industry with skills in academic research. Students develop their skills through courses in their area of specialization and by writing and thesis, specializing in either Marketing, Finance, Management Information Systems, or Management while receiving direct supervision from one of our Faculty Members.
