Who this is for: Open to students and alumni from business, engineering, computer science, math, statistics, and art and design.
What you will get out of it: Connect with professionals from myUniMate to learn about their platform and their current hiring initiatives.
myUniMate is an early-stage pioneering student engagement platform designed to redefine the college journey. We believe that the student should be at the core of every experience. myUniMate is challenging the limits of generative AI and machine learning, for students to maximize their academic, social and career aspects of their university adventure!
We are seeking enthusiastic individuals who are motivated by ambitious goals to fulfill our mission. Ideal candidates thrive in a startup atmosphere, where challenging and unsolved problems are abundant. We value team members who are keen to learn, grow, and engage in collaborative efforts.
Open opportunities (permanent, contract, and internships) exist in software engineering and development, conversation experience, product design and development, data science, marketing and more.
What to Expect
A virtual session in which professionals from myUniMate will be telling you about their platform, their current available positions, and application process.
How to Prepare
- Have a personal laptop or desktop ready so you can participate in the session.
- Test your camera and microphone ahead of time. We highly encourage participants to have their cameras on to better engage with the visiting myUniMate professionals.
- Plan your video call background. It is recommended taking the call within a professional looking space or blurring the background if not possible.
- Get your resume updated! Consider visiting Career Services (401 Tory Building) for a review of your resume; drop-in hours are Monday-Friday 1-4pm.
- Research the employer ahead of time. Read more about myUniMate on their main webpage and learn about their open positions on their Careers page.
- Sign up for beta to experience the product (optional).
