IMI offers interdisciplinary programs that integrate management with fields like accounting, urban planning, environmental science, and biotechnology among others. Master of Management & Professional Accounting
Unleash your professional potential: Your pathway to a CPA designation and a career in management!

The MMPA program at U of T, draws talented students from ANY undergraduate degree and provides an integrated, experiential learning environment; including paid co-op work terms, the core MBA curriculum and an accredited CPA pathway. MMPA has become a leader in business AI and data analytics and prepares graduates for the changing world we live in. MMPA has three different streams to support students from ANY background! MMPA is the business graduate program of choice for accounting specialists, business, science and arts students!

Graduates of the program go on to obtain professional designations including the CPA and CFA, and to pursue careers in Management, Consulting, Assurance, Accounting, Finance, Academia and Entrepreneurship.

Master of Urban Innovation
The Master of Urban Innovation (MUI) is a 20-month professional graduate program at the University of Toronto. We’re looking for students from all disciplines who have a passion for cities. The MUI program provides students with interdisciplinary training in economic development, public policy, community engagement, sustainability, and more! MUI also includes a paid summer internship. Master of Biotechnology
The MBiotech Program is a 24-month, course-based professional degree prog­ram offered through the Institute for Management & Innovation at the Univers­ity of Toronto Mississauga. Offering streams in both Biopharma­ceuticals (BioPh) and Digital Health Tech­nol­ogies (DHT), the program incorporates both science and business courses with eight to 12 months of work experience in industry. The carefully selected combin­ation of courses, coupled with relevant industry experi­ence and a strong focus on teamwork, provides our graduates with a truly inter­disciplinary edu­cational experi­ence at a top-ranked, world-renowned university.

Since 2001, the MBiotech Program has been meeting the co-op needs of industry with our highly trained graduates. Our students take up to three consecutive work terms with top employers in Ontario and beyond. Our current placements include pharmaceuticals, medical devices, diagnostics, and biofuels.

Master of Science in Sustainability Management
MScSM is a 20 months professional graduate program for students who a passion for sustainability. We accept students from interdisciplinary undergrad programs.
The MScSM program provides the training for our graduates to act outside the traditional disciplinary black boxes; integrate knowledge from management, social, and natural sciences to address sustainability issues. The program has an internship semester as well as an optional exchange program in Europe.
