Health and Counselling Services (HCS)
Health and Counselling Services (HCS) is a multidisciplinary healthcare facility that provides medical services and counselling services to Carleton University students, faculty and staff.

Residence Counselling | Residence Counselling and Wellness is a satellite office of Health and Counselling Services open exclusively to Carleton students living in residence. |
Online Mental Health Resouces | Health and Counselling Services (HCS) provides a list of online resources to raise awareness and provide support for various mental illnesses. |
Medical Services | Students can access medical, lab, and counselling appointments, as well as, urgent same-day appointments. More information is on the Medical Services page. |

Peer and Group Support | Carleton offers many forms of peer support on campus. Peer mentors often understand what you are going through and can help connect you to the information that you are looking for and can provide tips to help you navigate through challenging experiences. |

Safer Substance Use | A compilation of resources provided by Student Affairs for students and staff who may be questioning or struggling with their relationship with alcohol and other substances. |
Spirituality Support | Students in need of spiritual support are able to connect with the Spirituality Centre for online spiritual counselling. |
Supporting a friend workshop | The Supporting a Friend workshop is facilitated by fellow students who understand how tough it can be to have these conversations. This workshop can provide you with information and tips to help you feel more confident in these situations |

The Centre for Indigenous Initiatives (CII)
The Centre for Indigenous Initiatives (CII) supports students, staff and faculty at Carleton by providing culturally safe spaces for dialogue and learning. This is done by nurturing a sense of belonging for Indigenous students, and by developing and delivering resources and training to educate the Carleton community about the experiences, histories and worldviews of Indigenous peoples.
