On December 10, 2012, Professor Joan Debardeleben presented a speech in celebration of the EU, who won the Nobel Peace Prize last year. The Delegation of the European Union in Canada and the Canada-Europe Parliamentary Association organized a reception held at the Government Conference Centre here in Ottawa to recognize the EU’s achievement.
Debardeleben spoke alongside EU Ambassador Matthias Brinkman, MP David Tilson, Ambassador of Norway H.E. Mona Brother, and Gerald Keddy, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of International Trade. Click here to read a copy of her speech.
