The Centre for European Studies at Carleton University (CES), has again been designated as a European Union Centre of Excellence (EUCE) by the European Commission, as well as Network Coordinator for all of the Canadian EUCEs for the period 2013-2016. Professor Joan DeBardeleben (EURUS) will continue to serve as CES Director and Professor Achim Hurrelmann (Political Science) as CES Associate Director.
