On February 27th, the Food Science and Nutrition Student Society (FSNSS) hosted their first ever Career Fair. Through this event, the FSNSS hoped to help their fellow Food Science students broaden their horizons as to the unique opportunities offered by their degree.The FSNSS was also looking to raise awareness on the program and influence students outside of the program to consider pursuing this unique scientific discipline. In attendance at Career Fair were representatives from Healthcare Food Services (HFS), Health Canada, the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC), Hexo Corp., Parmalat, Carleton’s Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Affairs, and the Carleton Golden Key Society. The FSNSS would like to thank all students and representatives who came out to this year’s Food Science Career Fair and helped to make it a success. The society looks forward to hosting more events in the near future and encourages all Food Science students as well as anyone interested in the program to come out and participate.
