Mostafa Siddiqui has been awarded one of five Outstanding Teaching Assistant Awards for 2019-2020. This award celebrates the contributions and support teaching assistants give to the undergraduate programs in their disciplines, their roles in establishing and perpetuating a positive learning environment, and in implementing innovative teaching practices.
The awards committee was impressed with the strength and versatility of nominations as well as Carleton TAs’ dedication to enhancing student learning. The University received a large number of highly competitive nominations this year, but could only recognize five winners. Based on the information included in multiple nomination letters and supporting documents, the committee unanimously agreed to recognize Mostafa’s dedication, passion, and excellence in teaching.
Mostafa just graduated from the Neuroscience and Mental Health program and has been a teaching assistant in the Department of Chemistry for 2 years.
