The Council of Canadian Academies (CCA), at the request of Health Canada’s Pest Management Regulatory Agency, has formed an expert panel to examine the scientific, bioethical, and regulatory challenges associated with the use of gene-edited organisms and technologies for Pest Control. Professor Miller was asked to join the multidisciplinary group of experts, making an invaluable contribution to evidence-based policy in Canada. The panel is Chaired by Professor Robert Slater of the School of Public Policy and Administration at Carleton University.
