Professor Jeff Manthorpe has been awarded the largest ever individual research grant within the Faculty of Science! The grant was awarded to develop methods of reducing the amount of palladium used in chemical reactions that play a significant role in industries such as electronics and pharmaceuticals. The Mitacs Accelerate funds will also support the training of graduate students, recent graduates, and postdoctoral fellows.
