Research Centres
The Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences at Carleton is home to a number of faculty-initiated Research Centres. Research Centres provide opportunities for collaborative research projects undertaken across traditional disciplinary boundaries. Members of Research Centres are typically from cognate disciplines and engage in collaborative funded research, hold conferences, and publish findings as proceedings, books, edited collections or single articles. Membership is drawn from faculty with shared research interests both from within and outside the University. Many Research Centres have international members and publish occasional print and/or electronic newsletters as a means of communicating research initiatives and developments.
